Job Description

We are looking for an experienced European Facilities Operations Manager to manage the delivery of hard and soft facilities services across multiple sites in 27 countries. You will be responsible for strategic and operational TFM in a busy and developing global pharmaceutical company. You will be responsible for the management of projects as well as identifying operational requirements and solutions on an organisational level to achieve service targets and cost reductions. Excellent bonus incentive up to 25%. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THE NETHERLANDS;.

The Role

  • Must have managed large TFM contracts across many geographies
  • Responsible for leading a high-performance team, provide mentoring and career development; oversee development and succession plans
  • Participate in the development of Regional Annual Operating Plans including annual budget of €100 million + (Capex and Opex)
  • Contract management for all outsourced FM services.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the FM strategy aligns with business needs
  • Support forecasting, planning, development and management of the sites, facilities, plants, systems and services.
  • Providing facilities management expertise in planning, decommissioning and upgrade projects making sure all requirements are met.
  • Managing projects across different sites supporting local, regional and global FM & Engineering teams.

Experience

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent (preference given to those with a degree in Facility Management, Logistics, or Engineering)
  • Must have managed large TFM contracts across many geographies
  • Previous multi-site experience across Europe or EMEA is essential
  • Proven track record in managing multi-million and complex budgets
  • European languages would be a distinct advantage but the only essential language is English
  • A proven track record in Change Management in a fast changing Global or European company
  • Ideally have worked with in a large organization with matrix management reporting
  • Contractor Management experience
  • Ideal previous experience would be FM in a pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing environment
