Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to manage a portfolio of multi tenanted properties. The Facilities Manager will be directly responsible for the provision of facilities services in one or more managed properties to best practice standards defined by the managing agent. Basic salary plus benefits.

The Role

  • To understand the Clients objective and instructions in relation to each Property.
  • To assist in Client reporting on on-site Facilities Management.
  • Ensure smooth transition of relevant individual properties into the management portfolio.
  • To be directly responsible for site-based employees and their assessment, training and development. To advise on staff structures required.
  • To regularly liaise with occupiers and be the principal point of contact for advice and guidance in connection with the day-to-day physical operation of the building.
  • Inform Property Managers of any occupier matters that may influence valuation/investment considerations including assistance in monitoring Tenants compliance with covenants.
  • Report to Property Managers in accordance with an agreed procedure, ensuring the Regional Facilities Manager is kept informed on matters relating to standards of facilities management.

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in site/facilities management within the Managing Agent environment.
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of colleagues at all levels and with external stakeholders and contractors.
  • BIFM qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of colleagues at all levels and with external stakeholders and contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety, ideally qualified in IOSH or NEBOSH.
  • Must have experience working with relevant codes of practice/legislation including the Service Charge Code of Practice.
