Job Description

We are looking for an HSEQ Director to develop, maintain and improve an occupational health and safety system as well as a quality and environmental system. Your working environment will be a world class facility that is operational 24/7 by 365 days with constant flow of passenger traffic and with the highest expected standards in terms of health and safety . You must have an engineering / building services degree, worked on construction projects and have worked within camps and clinics.
  • Create or approve HSEQ Manual and Key HSEQ System Procedures
  • Perform HSE Inspections and Internal HSEQ System Audits
  • Closely co-operate with the company Doctor regarding all Health issues of the camp employees
  • Provides the company Doctor with the Risk Profiles of camp employees, in order to assist the Clinic team when performing the appropriate Medical Checks
  • Approve the analysis of all Accidents and Incidents
  • Approve the use of hazardous substances and requires opinion from the medical service if needed
  • Propose to the CEO the annual or periodical HSEQ KPIs
  • Lead the HSEQ Communication and awareness program through HSE Tool Boxes
  • Approve the specification of PPEs to are used by employees
  • Work closely with the Security Team in order to ensure that all HSEQ issues are handled in the correct manner
  • Lead and Participates in the investigation of accidents and severe incidents
  • Prepare the HSEQ Management System Review Report
  • Call and lead the periodical HSEQ Management Meetings
  • Lead the Third Party HSEQ Audit Process (Client, Certification Bodies, etc)


  • Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent Preferred
  • HSE/ Quality Degree or Certificate
  • NEBOSH Diploma or Similar
  • Minimum 10 years experience essential
  • Experience in a Facilities Management company
  • High technical knowledge of Occupational Health, Industrial Safety, Environmental Training, Quality Management, Behavioural Safety, Operational Safety (LOTO, Fire Prevention, Confined Spaces, Works at Height, Permit to Work, Ergonomics), Waste Management
  • Excellent command of the English language is essential
  • Knowledge of Spanish and/or Arabic would be a plus
