Job Description

You will be working for a well-known client, based in London as an EMEA Facilities Manager. You will have strong EMEA Facilities Management experience as well as a background managing, leading and supporting across multiple service lines. You will be from a technical background with a proven ability to understand hard service delivery. You will also have experience in financial management within an FM environment.

The Role

  • Support the Account Director in terms of driving EMEA wide initiatives across Engineering Service Delivery, Asset Management, Energy and Sustainability, Client First Interface and delivery of the Annual Account Plan
  • Support the overall delivery of IFM operations across EMEA in terms of contract delivery, EHS, engineering services, legislative compliance, contractor management, promoting sustainability, adding value and driving innovation
  • Demonstrate leadership, give direction and mentor teams across EMEA
  • Provide support for FM's across EMEA in terms of Building Management Systems, PPM Schedules, Task System, EHS and Quality Compliance
  • Support compliance audits across EMEA offices in terms of procedures, policies and procedures including statutory compliance, Quality and EHS compliance
  • Act as the go-to person in relation to all facilities/project/fit out/crisis management activities on site whilst covering FM's ensuring timely solutions
  • Maintain role as secondary contact for local FM's and the client base in each office relative to service requests ensuring all requests are actioned within agreed timeframes/KPI/SLA's
  • Develop a clear understanding and appreciation of the working relationship with Landlord, Managing Agents and local vendors in each of the EMEA offices
  • Understand and offer guidance to local FM's in terms of hard services and technical repairs and provide guidance to FM's in terms of managing local M&E vendors
  • Monitor PPM schedules, O&M's, warranties, Task System, Asset & Life Cycle Registers ideally having the ability to support asset validation and keep asset registers up to date in terms of project works/additions to existing offices
  • Monitor EMEA offices during site visits to ensure alignment of standards in terms of daily cleaning, periodic cleaning, PPM delivery, event management, MAC process and shipping process


  • Previous experience covering an EMEA portfolio is essential
  • You will have a technical background, with a proven ability to understand and interrogate hard service delivery
  • Experience in financial management and identifying cost savings/avoidance
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential
  • You will have a proven track record of supporting and leading a team across multiple service lines
  • You must be prepared to travel in order to support EMEA wide delivery
  • Demonstrate successful contract management and team management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Ability to network at all levels within the organization
